130 items Pages Akamuti Myrrh & Frankincense Balm 60ml This rich luxurious balm combines the power of two incredible tree resins – frankincense & myrrh. These resins have been revered since ancient times as very powerful healers, encouraging purification & regeneration of the skin. They are among some of the oldest aromatics known to man. Myrrh has incredible properties attributed to its bitterness – it is an effective purifier, antiseptic & is slightly astringent. Frankincense works by invigorating & uplifting while being calming. These resins are two of our favourite ingredients because they are so useful & versatile. This super rich balm can be used for a whole host of things – we’ve listed some of our favourite uses below to give you some ideas: Super Rich Intensive Face Treatment: If you have very dry, damaged or mature skin this works brilliantly as an intensive treatment to rejuvenate, heal & purify your skin.Caring Balm: Apply to marked, impoverished skin.Aromatic Rub: Frankincense is renowned for its calming & clearing effect on the respiratory system. Both resins are fantastic decongestants. Directions for use: Apply to a clean fingertip and massage well into the skin as often as required. This is a rich balm & a little goes a long way.When to apply: Balms & salves are often most effective if applied before a nights sleep, giving the balm plenty of time to penetrate the skin. Ingredients: Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus dulcis), Organic Olive Oil (Olea europa), Organic Beeswax (Cera alba), Frankincense Gum (Boswellia carterii), Myrrh Gum (Commiphora molmol), Frankincense Essential Oil (Boswellia carterii), Myrrh Essential Oil (Commiphora molmol). Akamuti Neem Mineral Mask 100g For problem skin, this therapeutic formulation teams powerful neem with Green Clay and Amla. Ayurvedic herbs encourage regulation, skin detox and super cleansing abilities, while promoting health and skin regeneration. Ideal plant therapy for problem skin types, spots, acne, oily skin and upset skin types. Directions for use - Take 1/2 teaspoon of neem mineral mask & add enough water to make a smooth paste. We highly recommend mixing with distilled tea tree water for maximum therapeutic benefits. Blend together to achieve a creamy clay mask. (Make it up fresh - as much as you need at any one time) Apply your clay mask to a clean face. Leave the mask on until the clay begins to dry on your face or starts to feel warm - after about 5-10 mins. (Remember that if you leave a clay mask on for too long & it will counteract the benefits. The neem mask is also wonderful for acne, individual spots & erupting 'danger-zones'.)Simply apply the mask to the localised patches, wash after 5 mins & re-apply fresh mask to the area. This will prevent pustule formation & nip nasty pimples in the bud. Please Note: If your skin is in need of serious TLC, it is not unusual that after applying your first clay mask your skin will feel hot & look inflammed. This is good news as it shows the clay is doing its job pulling out impurities from the skin. Any 'de-tox symptoms' will diminish & disappear completely the more you use the mask. Bathe your face with cool water after use & simply re-apply the clay until your skin establishes a balance. Storage instructions: Keep the clay out of direct sunlight.
